Eligibility

Participation in PAWEN programs, events, or communities is subject to eligibility criteria, which may vary by initiative. In general:

Use of PAWEN Platforms

By using PAWEN platforms, you agree to:

Program Participation

When you enroll in or participate in a PAWEN program, you agree to:

• Engage respectfully with facilitators, mentors, staff, and fellow participants
• Follow program guidelines, schedules, and participation expectations
• Submit original work and avoid plagiarism or misrepresentation
• Comply with any additional program specific terms shared during onboarding

Failure to comply may result in suspension or removal from a program without refund or compensation, where applicable.

Intellectual Property

PAWEN Content

All PAWEN created materials, including curricula, training content, toolkits, recordings, documents, branding, logos, designs, and media, are protected by intellectual property laws.

You may:

• Access PAWEN materials for personal, non commercial use where permitted

You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, or use PAWEN content for commercial or promotional purposes without written consent

Participant Created Content

You retain ownership of original content you create during PAWEN programs. By participating, you grant PAWEN a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use submitted content, testimonials, images, or recordings for reporting, storytelling, and promotional purposes. You may request withdrawal of this permission in writing, subject to prior published use.

Partnerships and Collaborations

All partnerships with PAWEN must be formalised through written agreements. Partners agree to:

• Respect PAWEN’s values and mission
• Use PAWEN branding and platforms appropriately
• Not exploit PAWEN communities or participants for unauthorised promotion
• Fulfil agreed commitments transparently and ethically

PAWEN reserves the right to terminate partnerships that breach these Terms or associated agreements.

Donations and Payments

Donations made to PAWEN support our mission and programs. Unless otherwise stated, donations are voluntary and non refundable. Program fees, where applicable, will be clearly communicated prior to payment.

PAWEN does not guarantee specific outcomes, employment, funding, or financial returns as a result of participation in any program.

Events and Media Consent

By attending PAWEN events or programs, you consent to the use of photographs, videos, or recordings that may include your image or voice for communication, reporting, and promotional purposes, unless you notify us in advance.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings at in person events.

Disclaimers and Liability

PAWEN provides programs and services in good faith and does not guarantee specific results. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• PAWEN is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from participation
• We are not responsible for third party content or external links
• Participants are responsible for their own devices, internet access, and data security during virtual engagements

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct where prohibited by law.

Data Protection and Communications

By engaging with PAWEN, you agree to receive communications related to programs, events, impact updates, and organisational news. You may unsubscribe at any time.

Termination of Access

PAWEN reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to platforms, programs, or communities for violations of these Terms, misuse of our services, or conduct inconsistent with our mission.
